Durat "Porta dei Colori", Alcova Milano 2024 April 15-21

We are delighted to invite you to experience our stunning installation at Alcova Milano. "Porta dei Colori" created by Linda Bergroth, will be built inside the Porta Nord Lazzaretto di Milano colonnade, which has been moved to the Villa Bagatti Valsecchi Park. It is located in the lush greenery of a beautiful park.

The ensemble, based on the power of colour, draws its inspiration from the earthy colours of the colonnade. The bold colour scheme was made possible by the extreme range and flexibility of Durat's colour and pattern options. "Porta dei Colori" glows in earth, water and sun tones.

New Durat Plus: up to 80 % recycled materials

The world's first material combining recycled PET resin and recycled solid surface

Durat is the world’s first commercially available solid surface material combining recycled PET resin and recycled solid surface. Durat Plus, developed by Durat, can use any manufacturer's solid surface as a raw material. The resin is made from recycled PET plastic, as used in plastic bottles.
Durat Plus contains up to 80% recycled material. Its carbon footprint is about half that of a traditional Durat.

Durat's first EPD environmental report is certified

An Environmental Product Declaration, or EPD, is a document which transparently communicates the environmental performance or impact of any product or material over its lifetime. EPD's signal a manufacturer's commitment to measuring and reducing the environmental impact of its products and services and report these impacts in a transparent way.

When developing an EPD, the environmental performance of the product shall be described from a life cycle perspective by carrying out a life cycle assessment (LCA) of the product. The product's environmental impacts have therefore been collected and calculated from raw material acquisition to final disposal.

According to the calculations made for the environmental report, Durat's carbon footprint is 3,35 kgCO2e.
